AEOLUS Leading Synthetic Filter Technology

Filtration Media
Aeolus Filter3 media achieves unparalleled energy efficiency, life cycle and durability without the need for artificial attractants, such as electrostatic enhancement.
This patented single-step production process results in a three-dimensional web of thick and thin fibers. Naturally attracted to matter of similar diameter, particles are trapped within the three-dimensional web of microfibers.
- Naturally attracted to matter of similar diameter, particles are trapped within the three-dimensional web of microfibers.
- Each individual fiber strand on our MERV 8 - 13 filters measures between 2 and 20 microns in diameter.
- Enmeshed with Nanofibers, aeotec nanofiltration media captures particles as small as one-thousandth of a micron.

The effectiveness of aeolus filter3 media relies on the fundamental mechanichal principles of particle capture:
- Attract particles of similar dimensions.
Naturally attracted to matter of similar diameter, particles are trapped within a three-dimensional web of microfibers. Each individual fiber strand on our MERV 8 - 13 filters measures between 2 and 20 microns in diameter. Enmeshed with Nanofibers, aeotec nanofiltration media captures particles as small as one-thousandth of a micron.
- Capture particles inside the filter, not just on the surface.
Thanks to the 3-D web of fibers, the aeolus filter3 traps particles are trapped within the filter, not just at the surface. Many competing filters trap particles only at the surface.
- Maintain filter form under pressure.
Durable enough to stand on, our filter media does not lose its shape over time.
- Avoid the buildup of micro-organisms.
Aeolus synthetic media is non-shedding, hydrophobic and virtually water-proff. Aeolus media does not support the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, mold, and fungi.

Aeolus Filter Frame Technology

|
Frame Technology used in the SMP Products (Synthetic Mini-pleat Panels)
Frame material for the Synthetic Mini-pleat Panel filter is rigid polypropylene foam board.
- It is waterproof, impact resistant, resistant to most chemicals, and will not rust or corrode. The rigid foam board is formed into a U-channel and wrapped around the perimeter of the media pack. Frame and media pack are bonded together with a thermo-plastic adhesive.
- Neither the adhesive or frame parts are affected by water and by nature do not support the growth of microbial organisms such as bacteria, mold, fungi, etc.
